Overview

DiskTree is designed with privacy in mind. The app runs entirely on your Mac and does not transmit your file data, disk contents, or personal information to any external server.

Information We Collect

DiskTree collects minimal information:

• License key — stored locally on your Mac in UserDefaults to verify your Pro license. It is sent to Paddle's servers solely to verify validity.
• No file or disk data — your file names, folder structure, and disk contents never leave your device.
• No analytics — we do not use any analytics, tracking scripts, or telemetry in the app or on this website.

Payment Processing

Purchases are processed by Paddle, our payment provider. When you purchase DiskTree Pro, Paddle collects your payment information and email address in accordance with Paddle's Privacy Policy. We receive only your license key and order confirmation.

This Website

The disktree.org website is served via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited) as part of their infrastructure. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics on this site.

Data Retention

Your license key is stored locally on your Mac and is deleted when you deactivate your license. We do not maintain a database of user information beyond what Paddle retains for payment processing.
